New iPhone ad:

Another new iPhone ad hit the airwaves (or cable...waves....) today on CNBC touting the iPhone's internet abilities.  The spot (YouTube'd after the break for your viewing pleasure) claims the browser isn't surfing any sort of mobile web, but instead surfing the real web.  To us, surfing the "real web" can't be too fun with that 2.5G EDGE connection *zing!* but we're sure the experience looks good.  Just wait till we get our hands on the phone June 29th... then we'll know how great it truly is.

Mowser Simplifies Web Browsing
Added on 2007-04-19 23:02:00
by Rusty Weiss

Have yourself a new phone, but an old web browser? It’s Mowser to the rescue…

Fire up your mobile phone network, take a trip to the Mowser homepage, and enter your web address of choice. The result is a web friendly translation. Mowser converts any page into something your phone can handle, eliminating over-sized graphics, and cutting the page up into smaller pieces.

The service also provides bookmarks to sites which are already cell phone friendly, along with popular keyword searches.
