 Occasionally, technology does find some limitations. Such is the case of cell phone use during the recent tornado outbreaks in Alabama.
A chaotic scene caused emergency workers to try communicating via cell phone, rather than with the state’s emergency communication system. With so much action on the network (traffic tripled), the system was overwhelmed.
It is an example of how important cell technology has become for law enforcement officials, emergency personnel, and people in general.
