iPhone hacks: We iP0wn the iPhone

We told you earlier about the iPhone hack to add custom ringtone support to the device, and now we've gone and hacked it ourselves. The result? Custom ringtones, but we did screw up our second attempt since we sent an old configuration file to the device. All in all, we did end up succeeding without further compromising the phone. The Center for Biological Diversity has decided to couple their endangered animal ringtones, with matching wallpaper.

The popularity of the ringtones has led to this new development. With over 60,000 downloads, there are plenty of croaks, chirps and howls to go around.

So, if snorkeling with manatees, soaring with bald eagles, or protesting fur in the buff is your thing, then you may want to consider this wallpaper for your mobile phone.
