RAZR 2 for three carriers
Added on 2007-08-12 10:21:00
by Mark Brezinski

It seems as though Verizon, Sprint and AT&T all want a piece of the Motorola RAZR2 pie, as dangerous as such a pastry sounds. The RAZR2 has a giant external screen, which is great, since reading the PR statements would lead you to believe it was the best multimedia device ever. AT&T statement was the only one to contain any real info, which claimed the RAZR2 would have 3G support; everyone else just echoed the phone's specs. The phone hasn't been released by anyone yet, but you can pick it up from Verizon for $299.99 (after a rebate), from AT&T for $299.99, and from Sprint for $249.99. You can read more from each company here: AT&T, Sprint, Verizon.

Motorola RAZR2 V8 Review
Added on 2007-06-08 16:54:00
by Tanya Palta

Mobile Review has done an in-depth analysis of the upcoming Motorola RAZR2 V8 and gave the phone brownie points for its Linux Java 6.5 platform, its sleek ergonomics, its sound quality and the new user interface. However ironically they found the handset’s design its Achilles Heel since it’s a “fingerprint magnet” and quality of the video clips was found to be abysmal too.

Other than that 3000-LB gorilla phone coming out, we've had our eye on the next version of the RAZR since its announcement.  Ryan Block at Engadget got to play with the phone for a bit and has a plethora of pics up over at Engadget Mobile.  So far? The phone looks pretty nice, but we'll let you decide that for yourself.
