Sure we’ve all see the Nike+ shoes that pair with iPod Nano’s. Now Nike has decided to partner with another electronics manufacturer, KDDI to create a matching cell phone and shoe combination. Starting in December Nike will offer a pair of shows with a matching KDDI Infobar 2. The shoes and handsets will be available in 4 different colors and will be customizable using the Nike ID feature.

Engadget has a photo of the HTC HT1100 (Nike, Touch II) slider we’ve been hearing about for the past few months. The handset runs Windows Mobile 6 has WiFi, Bluetooth, and a 2 megapixel still camera as well as a few other features more than likely that haven’t been confirmed yet. The HT1100 is currently on Japan’s DoCoMo, no word yet on when it might hit elsewhere.

HTC Touch 2 coming?
Added on 2007-08-07 15:01:00

While it'd be sweet if it were real, these "leaked" renders of the HTC Touch 2 are likely false hope. The leaked specs don't disappoint either, with 3G, WiFi and FM radio, and top it off with a Helio Ocean-esque approach to sliders, and we're game. It's a shame that it probably isn't real, but if HTC wants some free market research advice: Make this a reality.
[Thanks, Steve]
