To say Sony Ericsson had a busy week is an under-statement. After unleashing a slew of phones, the mobile giants also announced the MD300 mobile broadband USB modem that connects your computer to HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, or GPRS networks. The Sony Ericsson MD300 is a mobile broadband modem that plugs into any standard USB port there is support for Windows 2000, XP, Vista and Mac OS X. The MD300 will be available in luxury black and metallic silver in selected markets from Q1 2008.
“The MD300 combines high data download speeds with simple installation and configuration, making it the ideal choice for busy professionals who demand no-compromise connectivity,” says Johan Tysklind, Marketing Director Mobile Computing at Sony Ericsson. “The MD300 is the first offering in our forthcoming portfolio of mobile broadband products that will combine Sony Ericsson’s dependability with a stylish form factor.”
The evolution of Cingular Wireless into AT&T Wireless continued today with the opening of the first remodeled Cingular store in Houston. The new AT&T Experience Store, located on Southwest Freeway across from the former Compaq Center arena, offers 5,000 square feet of retail space and will showcase AT&T’s landline, broadband and entertainment services in addition to AT&T Wireless handsets and services, said AT&T Inc.
