 LG has added a new color option for its popular Viewty handset. The Viewty will be available now in Hot Red in the Ukraine. The Viewty is also available in silver, black, pink, and purple.

LG sells over 300,000 Viewty in 5 weeks

 LG is reporting that their Viewty has sold over 300,000 units in the 5 weeks it’s been on the European market. "We are thrilled about the immense interest from consumers. In some countries, our product supply is even running low. Viewty gets DivX certification

 LG has announced that the LG Viewty dubbed the “YouTube phone” is now DivX certified. This certification will allow the handset to play full length DivX movies that have been downloaded as well as likely stream them over the handsets 3G HSDPA data connection.
