Vertu is releasing a new collection of handsets to mark its decennial anniversary. The Constellation Rococo collection is expected to be released this summer and was inspired by "the eighteenth century French art, fashion and interior design movement by the same name"
Vertu just got cheaper. Okay for most of us $6,628 is not exactly petty change but the new Ascent Ti is pretty reasonable when compared to other Vertu models like the "Signature Cobra" ($310,000).
So what exactly do we get for $6,628? Well there is 3G support, a 3-megapixel camera, ringtones composed by David Arnold, a button that provides 24-hour service worldwide and an entry to the Snob Club.
Looks like there is a new Vertu phone on the way. The Powers Of Be at the FCC have approved a new Vertu handset which carries forward the Vertu legacy. Extremely luxurious the handset has some decent features to its credit including a dedicated music player, a media player, a megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity. The 3G UMTS Phone is made from the finest of leather and metal and as expected will cost a bomb.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and a cell phone is her ultimate companion! Combine these two and you get the new Vertu Colored Diamonds Edition Cellphone. The White Diamond phone has been encrusted with 385 diamonds and pink sapphires where as its Pink avatar has 923 white diamonds, sapphires, and rubies. The tri-band phone may stun your senses but it will for sure burn a hole in your pocket! But hey if you have the extra cash, who cares about minute details like price?
There is no dearth of Limited Edition Mobile Phones in this world and most of them are quite garish honestly! Vertu seeks to provide some respite from these fashion abominations by releasing a Premium (also read exorbitant) Ascent Strawberry & Cream Special Edition Phone. The Strawberry & Cream Special Edition is more about style than functionality, which is a polite way to say not a lot of features to talk about!
