Telus has officially started offering the Motorola Mike i877. The flip phone has Bluetooth, microSD expansion, a multimedia player, 1.3 megapixel camera, and a digital voice recorder. Pick one up now for $349.99 without contract or between $149.99 and $299.99 on contract.

Telus has launched the Motorola Q9c and the upcoming availability of the BlackBerry Curve 8330 for their network. Both handsets have Bluetooth and EV-DO data. The Curve also has a 2 megapixel camera and GPS. Pick up a Q9c  now for $149.99 CAD, no word yet on a release date or price for the Curve.

Telus has found itself in hot water for launching a service that allows customers the ability to have unlimited calling and texting to 5 numbers in their phonebook. Why the fuss? They decided to call the service “My Faves” the same name as eerily similar service from US based T-Mobile. T-Mobile has decided to take the carrier to court for trademark infringement, Telus filed paperwork for the Canadian trademark for the phrase a month before T-Mobile.

Telus has added the Samsung U540 to its handset offerings. The u540 clamshell is a SPARK-enabled device and has a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, microSD expansion, and a mp3 player.

Mike, a division of Telus, has released the newest handset in the lineup, the Mike i335. The handset is the first in the carriers lineup to have a built-in antenna and also features Bluetooth and speakerphone. You can score one for $199 CAD with no contract, $149 with a 1 year contract and $79.99 with a 2-year contract on Mike.
