Motorola starts RIZR Z8 ad campaign

Motorola has started its ad campaign for the RIZR Z8. They're really pushing it as a multimedia device, but this ad is a rather convoluted way of doing so. Plus, the iPhone sort of scooped them with this idea, even stealing the Motorola trademark "Hello" in their ad. We've provided the two ads side-by-side so you can judge the similarities. Resisting a freebie is hard even if it comes at the cost of signing a contract with a network (shudders in horror). However those who have no commitment issues can make use of UK provider O2’s latest offer which entails a free Moto RIZR Z8 with a £35 per month contract. The phone comes bundled with a Motorola S9 Stereo Bluetooth Headset and includes a 2 megapixel camera, and microSD (up to 4GB) support and HSDPA support.
