The 9@9W mobile phone is the latest addition to the Philips Xenium Series. The phone does has some decent specs to its credit but we are not too hot about the design, which seeks to differ from the usual candybar phones. However it does redeem itself with its metallic construction and 12 mm slim casing.

The dual sim phone includes the now mandatory Bluetooth and USB Connectivity. One also comes across a 2 MP Camera and and 1.9 inch 220x176 260K landscape oriented screen.  Talk time is claimed to be 510 minutes. No word on pricing or availability.

The Phillips 598 cell phone is being marketed towards women.

Phillips is apparently banking on women being swayed by some incredibly stereotypical features: digital diary, datebook, shopping list, body weight index, and so on…

Shopping list? Body weight index? Beware gentleman, purchasing this phone as a gift for your significant other may be akin to wrapping up a vacuum for her birthday.
