With rumors of a Palm Treo 755p circulating for a while now, a refreshing new buzz is in the air.
Possible leaked photos have shown up on the internet for the 755p. What they reveal is a slimmer, more compact device, with a Garnet OS supplemented by EV-DO. Another feature to note is the internal antenna, first of it's kind for a CDMA Treo.
It is an aesthetically pleasing device, and these photos will only serve to further enhance anticipation for the possible June release.

Rumors Point to May Release of the New Palm Treo 755P

The Sprint UsersForum is full of buzz about the new upcoming Palm Treo 755P, as are some of the “in-the-know” blogs. If the rumors are correct, this will be the upgrade to the 700p which has been on the market for some time. The rumors also reveal that it will have an internal antenna (the first CDMA Treo to have this feature), run on an EV-DO network, feature instant messaging and voice dialing, and come in burgundy and blue. Information about this smartphone was leaked earlier where it was referred to as the “Sherlock”. It does show up on the Sprint schedule, with a release date of May 17th, which is earlier than the expected date of June.
There are no pricing rumors yet available. The form factor is expected to be the same as earlier Treo models.
