 Palm announced that the unlocked version of the Centro will retail for $299 and will be available in the color white. The unlocked version will also support the newly available Maps for Mobile with My Location from Google.

 The Palm Centro is now available on Rogers Wireless and includes support for the Rogers 2.4G EDGE wireless network. New customers have to shell around $300 to get their hands on the Centro.

 The generous folks over at Wirefly are offering smartphones like Palm Centro and the Samsung BlackJack II for free. The only hitch is that one has to sign up for a 2 Year contract with AT&T US.

 AT&T has now officially announced the availability of the Palm Centro. The Centro is retailing for US$99 after a mail-in rebate and can be ordered online or can be purchased from AT&T's retail stores.

Brighthand is reporting that Palm is now taking pre-orders for the Centro however as reported earlier, it won’t be making its debut this week. The European version will run on the GSM networks and for more info head over here.

 Engadget has a hands-on up with the Palm Centro. Overall they thought the phone was ok. They thought the keyboard was too small but were impressed with the speed of the EV-Do connection. The Centro is expected out mid-October for $99.99 a low price for a handset with the Centro’s specs. You can check out photos of the Centro here.
