MobileBurn has a review up of the Sony Ericsson K850 handset. Overall they thought the handset has tons of great features: MP3 player, Bluetooth, HSDPA and does a great job with things like audio quality, reception, and battery life. They didn’t like the handsets touch sensitive keys or the handsets web browser, but not enough to not give the handset a “Highly Recommended” rating. Check out their full review of the handset here.

Sony-Ericsson at CTIA 2008: oldies but goodies

Since there's not a lot of new stuff going down at CTIA 2008 this year we thought we'd run out and grab some photos of phones that have been announced but we haven't got a chance to play with hands on yet. In the Sony-Ericsson booth we grabbled the C902 cybershot candybar with a five megapixel camera. Next up is the W980, a flip that reproduces Sony-Ericsson's excellent Walkman software on the exterior of the phone. Last, but not least, is the K850, a 3.2 megapixel Cybershot phone that's been rumored to be coming to AT&T forever. We have to admit that we're getting a little impatient to get some of these devices to U.S. shores. We haven't had a chance to do a full review on many Sony-Ericsson phones but those we have, or, one, the W580i (review), have impressed us. Photos after the jump.

The rest of Sony Ericsson's phones

We've been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for some extra details on Sony Ericsson's new phone lineup, and finally they're official. Of course, there's the K850 (pictured, third from left) we wrote about earlier, but there's also some information on the two new Walkman phones to the party, the W910 and W960.
The W960 rocks a full 8GB of onboard storage (like some other music-phone we keep hearing about,) a 3.2 megapixel camera and a touchscreen. The W910 (pictured, first from left) doesn't have any crazy onboard storage, but does have a two megapixel cam, requisite A2DP support and will come in both black and red colors.
All three phones feature the aforementioned Gracenote technology for song identification, ala Verizon's VCast implementation for which you might be seeing ads. Sony Ericsson also announced two phones that won't be crawling onto US shores, the K530 (fourth from left,) a less interesting 3G candybar phone, and the uber low-end Z250 flip phone (pictured second from left.) All of the phones and watches from Sony Ericsson will be released toward the end of 2007.
