Qwest lands HTC Vox (aka 5800 and Qwest Fusion)

Qwest Wireless, known as the wireless arm of the west's biggest telecom provider, is little more than a blip on most national carriers radar, but with the HTC Vox now on the MVNO's network, Qwest has a pretty big feather in their cap. The phone rocks a 2.4" screen, has a two-megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, Windows Mobile 6, and while the official specs don't mention it, we'd be shocked if it didn't support EVDO. The phone costs $199.99 with a two year contract and is available now on their site.

HTC Vox hands-on at EngadgetMobile

We've been seeing some interweb love for the HTC S710 (aka the Vox) and WirelessInfo best bud Chris at EngadgetMobile got his grubby lil' hands on the device. Chris told us that the device is unusually solid (like a rock,) and the wifi works well, but he feels like the keypad is a bit small but plenty usable. He also told us, "I'm crying on the inside that there's no 3G." We're right there with you, man.
