Behold, the HTC Cavalier (aka s630) unboxed for your viewing pleasure. The Smartphone Thoughts geeks got their hands on the update to the T-Mobile Dash, and so far so good. When compared to the underpowered Dash, they find the Cavalier to be quick. The reviewer even says it's quicker than the BlackJack, which is saying something. If you don't remember the Cavalier, take what you like about the T-Mobile Dash, add in some 3G, a faster 400MHZ processor and add in WiFi luv and voila! Still, just because we've seen it head through Uncle Sam's labs [PDF link!] , it doesn't guarantee a US release, but we'd speculate AT&T might want to continue its hot streak of acquiring sweet phone exclusives and potentially add it to the lineup. After all, it needs at least some phone to take care of 3G since the iPhone can't handle it.
