Flash Free for Mobile Devices says Adobe

Adobe Systems have announced that they will license their video-enabling Flash software for free for mobile devices. Titled, the Open Screen Project, Adobe wants to enhance the Internet experience on all devices including mobile devices.
Adobe said, it aims to improve Internet experiences on all electronics, including computers, TVs and digital video recorders. But mobile devices are a particular focus. Adobe will make an official announcement this coming Thursday.

Flash on its way to the iPhone

Adobe says that Flash is on its way to the iPhone. In a conference call Chief Executive at Adobe Shantanu Narayen said that the company was working on a Flash player for the phone saying "We believe Flash is synonymous with the Internet experience, and we are committed to bringing Flash to the iPhone," adding, "We have evaluated (the software developer tools) and we think we can develop an iPhone Flash player ourselves."

SanDisk Corp. beefed up its memory card product line with the addition of an 8GB SDHC card and a Mobile Premier line of fast microSD cards. The company made the announcements Friday at CeBIT 2007 in Hannover, Germany.
