Nokia is now offering Files on Ovi in Beta. Files on Ovi lets one access files on remote computers from any web-enabled device. After installing the required software, one can access their files even if the host PC is switched off.

Skype recently released a beta version for java-enabled mobile phones from Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson. The beta version of Skype for mobile features chat, group chat, presence (seeing when your contacts are online), and receiving calls from Skype users, and through Skype.
Additional features, which include the making of Skype-to-Skype and SkypeOut calls from the mobile handsets, are initially supported in seven markets: Brazil (Rio de Janeiro), Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

iPhone SDK Beta 4 Released

Nokia Mobile Web Server 1.2 Beta Released

Nokia recently updated the Mobile Web Server 1.2 beta, which can be downloaded on for Symbian S60 mobile devices for free. The server offers new messaging and calendar applications and one can also access their log and notifications. For more info head over here:

BigString Launches Email Service for iPhone & Other Devices

BigString Corporation has released a Beta version of its mobile email service which lets the iPhone and other next-generation wireless device send self-destructing emails and pictures. The service will be available free for mobile browser-based users at http://mobile.bigstring.com.
