Google Launches Mobile Banner Ads

Google will now deliver mobile banner ads to those companies, which use Google's AdWords for online advertising.  Advertisers need to pay only for what mobile users click on making Google a more attractive option those companies like Yahoo, AdMob and Third Screen.

O2, T-Mobile and Virgin Interested In Mobile Advertising

Love them or hate them but there is no escaping advertisements! If you thought your mobiles were a safe haven from ads, think again! Looks like, O2, T-Mobile and Virgin Mobile are thinking of introducing advertising to their mobile video and internet portals. This is not new as one saw Nokia launching two mobile advertising services, a couple of months ago!

Tom Henriksson, director of Nokia Ad Service, said: "As advertisers struggle with targeting in traditional media such as print and TV, mobile advertising is becoming an increasingly attractive channel for brands."
