ZTE Launches Two Tri-Band CDMA Handsets

 ZTE at the 2008 CTIA Wireless Show unveiled tow new handsets for U.S. market, the ZTE C78 and the ZTE C79. Both the handsets operate on AWS frequency bands and support features like; Bluetooth. multimedia messaging and Internet browsing. The C79 is a music phone where as the C78 an affordable candy bar handset with a VGA camera.

Samsung Spex & MyShot on Cricket

 The Samsung Spex and the Samsung MyShot are now available on Cricket Communications. Both the handsets are tri-band CDMA AWS phones and will be available beginning March 28. The MyShot will retail for $150 and the Spex for $120.
Al Moschner, Cricket's Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer said: "With today's introduction, both new and existing Cricket subscribers have access to two new wireless phones that incorporate the latest AWS capability, while having the ability to operate on the PCS and cellular bands."
