AT&T plans Live Mobile TV Service

AT&T will launch live mobile phone TV service in May based on Qualcomm's MediaFlo technology and will offer two exclusive channels to its subscribers. The service will however be available initially only on the Vu phone from LG Electronics and the Access from Samsung Electronics.

NetFront 3.4 for Windows Mobile now Available

Windows Mobile users can now download the technical preview version of NetFront 3.4. The latest version is available on the Access website and it now supports the latest standard markup languages: HTML (HyperText Markup Language), XHTML (eXtensible HyperText Markup Language), and WAP2.0 (WML1.3). The trial period for this software expires on February 29, 2008.

Run Palm OS on Nokia Internet Tablets

If the Nokia N Series UI fails to impress you (boy are you picky) then you can opt for Palm OS. The best part? You don’t have to rely on your hacking skills, as it is an official Access release and won’t cost you a dime. The software is available in Beta for now and supports the Nokia, N770, N800 and N810 Internet Tablets.

"This reinforces the value of Garnet OS-based applications to consumers and creates an all-around win: it will allow Nokia users to access the thousands of great applications Running under Garnet OS; it will give. our loyal developers a larger installed base of devices; and it will enable ACCESS to fine-tune Garnet VM based on customer feedback."
