AT&T Second Quarter Results Posted

AT&T has posted their second quarter results on their website and as expected they delivered a solid performance. AT&T's reported second-quarter 2008 net income totaled $3.8 billion, up from $2.9 billion in the year-earlier quarter.

Sony Ericsson to Cut Costs by EUR300 Million

Sony Ericsson also recently posted their second quarter’s earnings and unlike LG, their profits have dipped. The company’s net profit fell to EUR6 million from EUR220 million a year prior and hence Sony Ericsson will now work on cutting costs by EUR300 million annually.
