iPhone On Sale On The 29th at 6PM

At the Apple Developers' conference in San Francisco, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced that the iPhone will go on sale on the 29th of June at 6PM. In an off-the cuff comment, he revealed that the phone will go on sale at the end of the day; a slightly surprising announcement that may be motivated more by the fact that this time gives Apple and Cingular a few more hours to ship the phones out.
