Verizon Motorola Razr Maxx VE First Impressions Review - PlacingReceiving Calls

We found the keypad on the Razr Maxx VE to be much easier to use than the one on the V3m. The size is comparable, but we much preferred the Maxx's grid arrangement for the dividers rather than the "wave" arrangement found on the V3m. We also liked that the dividers were raised above the keys instead of indented into the metal as this makes for much more effective tactile feedback. All of this adds up to a much better dialing experience. The talk and end buttons are arranged slightly below and flanking the directional pad. They are very similar to the talk and end keys on other Razr's, but due to the improvements to the keypad in general that we discussed above we found them easier to use. We were not able to place or recieve calls with the review unit we tested.
