Verizon Motorola Razr Maxx VE First Impressions Review - Conclusion

The Motorola Razr Maxx VE for Verizon Wireless is the latest iteration of the Razr lineup to hit an American carrier. The Maxx VE brings some upgrades in terms for hardware, including a new 2 megapixel auto focus camera, improved keypad and control keys and external music controls, however not much has changed under the hood. We look forward to getting the Maxx VE into our labs to put the new camera through its paces and see if the achilles heal of the Razr lineup, battery life, has been improved in this model. The Maxx VE might be a good choice for a Media Maven looking for a music handset or a chatty teenager looking for something slick looking, but It's probably not a good choice for budget callers as you can get very near this feature set for much less than the $199 that the Maxx will retail for. We also don't see the Maxx VE as a good business device as there is no integrated email client or support for document viewing.
Overall we found a lot to like in the upgrades that Motorola has made to the Razr lineup with the Maxx VE, however this is an evolutionary, not revolutionary device.
