The Verizon Wireless America's Choice Family SharePLan with 700 minutes is Verizon's lowest priced family plan at $69.99 for the first two lines. Each additional line costs $9.99 up to a maximum of 5. Plan features include unlimited night, weekend and in network calling. You also get 3-way calling, voice mail, call waiting and caller ID. 700 minutes is not a lot to share amongst multiple users, however this plan could be appropriate for families that make very limited out of network daytime calls. If you are concerned about the number of minutes available you can double them to 1400 for $20 per month more.

This plan's nearest competitors are T-Mobile's FamilyTime Basic with 700 minutes, AT&T's Nation 700 FamilyTalk with Rollover and Sprint's Power Pack Family Plans with 700 minutes. As you can see from the chart above the T-Mobile plan is slightly less expensive per minute. Other features you should consider are that the Sprint, Verizon and AT&T plans all include unlimited network calls. The AT&T plan further allows you to bank unused minutes for use in the future.
