The Amercia's Choice 450 plan from Verizon is their lowest priced individual plan at $39.99 per month. All America's Choice plan include unlimited night and weekend calling, free domestic long distance and roaming and unlimited calls to other Verizon users (IN Calling). The plan also includes 3-way calling, voice mail, call waiting, and caller ID. If you feel that 450 minutes may not be enough you can double your minutes for $20 more a month.
The major competitors from other carriers include T-Mobile's Get More 1000 plan, AT&T's Nation 450 with Rollover plan and Sprint's Power Pack Plan with 450 minutes. As you can see from the chart above all of these plans come in at the same cost per minute except for the T-Mobile plan which is less expensive. However, you should also consider that the T-Mobile plan does not include unlimited calling in network, which all of the other plans do include. The AT&T plan also includes rollover minutes, which allows you to bank minutes you haven't used in a month for future use.
The America's Choice 450 plan from Verizon is a good choice for people who only use their phone sparingly during daytime hours or make most of their calls to other Verizon users.
