Third Beta of iPhone OS 3.0 Released,Samsung Propel Pro on AT&T and More

According to WSJ, AT&T is keen to keep the exclusive rights of the almighty iPhone and is pressing to get an extension until 2011. However an Apple spokeswoman refused to comment on this development by saying, "We have a great relationship with AT&T”.
The third Beta version of the iPhone OS 3.0 is now available to those who have registered for the iPhone Developer Program. The latest version improves the overall functionality and adds new user interface updates. For more information go here.
A Toshiba Roadmap hints at some new interesting mobile devices. The L01 according to the roadmap will be a fuel cell MID powered device that would have a detachable keyboard, and the TG02 will have a waterproof casing. Where as the K01 will have a capacitive touchscreen.

The Samsung Propel Pro is now retailing on the AT&T network for $149.99 after rebate and a 2-year contract. Those who don’t want a contract can buy the device for $349.99.
Google has unveiled the Android 1.5 platform, which for the uninitiated comes from the 'Cupcake' branch of code. Version 1.5 introduces APIs for features such as soft keyboards, home screen widgets, live folders, and speech recognition and Android 1.5 SDK will soon be available to developers.
