The Pocket PC Feud has Begun

The concept of a computer in your pocket isn’t brand new by any means. But a Micro PC that makes use of the Microsoft operating system, is in it’s infancy.

The latest Micro PC to hit the market is presented by FlipStart Labs. It is a direct challenger to the OQO Model 02 which started shipping just a week ago. Both models are built on the Vista or XP operating systems.

The most obvious difference between the two designs is the placement of the keyboard. The OQO keyboard slides out from underneath the screen, which appears to be a more efficient design. The FlipStart keyboard is revealed when opening the clamshell design.

These devices can both easily fit into your pocket, and are quite stylish. Style comes at a price, however. The OQO starts at a notable $1,499. And the FlipStart comes in at a robust $1,999.
