T-Mobile's myFaves 300 plan is a new type of plan that allows you to make unlimited calls to 5 phone numbers. In addition you recieve 300 anytime minutes that can be used during daytime weekly hours. The plan includes unlimited weenight and weekend minutes, free national long distance and roaming, call waiting, caller ID and voicemail. myFaves plans are difficult to compare to other carrier plans due to the presence of unlimited calling to certain phone numbers. Plans like AT&T's Nation 450 with Rollover plan, Verizon's America's choice 450 plan and Sprint's Power Pack Plan with 450 minutes each cost less per minute than the myFaves 300 plan, but this is misleading as people who make a large number of phone calls to a small circle of people stand to save significant amounts with myFaves plans. The graph above then should not be considered a good measure of the value of the myFaves 300 plan.
mFaves 300 is T-Mobile's lowest cost myFaves plan. You can spend $10 per month more to double your minutes to 600. Alternatively you can ditch myFaves and get a regular individual plan with more anytime minutes for the same price. This may be a good choice if you find that you make calls to many different people rather than a small group of them. The myFaves 300 plan is a good choice for individuals that make the vast majority of their calls to their 5 faves, and only make a small number of calls to others.
