Tethered Modem (6.0)
The T-Mobile Wing can be used as a tethered modem via USB or Bluetooth. USB setup is similar to past Windows Mobile devices, simply install the driver included on the CD, create the connection, set the internet sharing program on the device to USB and dial away. Bluetooth connetions have changed with Windows Mobile 6. Instead of the standard Dial Up Networking bluetooth profile we now have a Bluetooth PAN profile, which uses the phone's data connection as an access point that can be accessed by other devices, even multiple devices. Although Bluetooth PAN has benefits of the DUN profile, we are concerned that not all Bluetooth equipped devices are compatible with it. Specifically Mac users will find that they can no longer use their phone to dial out to the network.
