T-Mobile Razr2 V8 Cell Phone Review - Connectivity

Cellular Bands (8.0)
The Razr2 V8 is a quad-band GSM phone, which means it'll run on the 850, 900, 1800, and 1900 MHz bands. For those not keen on the phone lingo, it means the phone uses a SIM card and will work just about everywhere. A word to the wise world-traveler: if you're going to use your phone overseas, get a local SIM card to pop in the back of your phone. Otherwise, you will incur ridiculous charges.

Data Support Score (3.0)
The Razr2 V8 has a EDGE connection for data transfers. This means you can expect 150-250kbps. This is slower than 3G connections (300-400kbps), which are becoming more mainstream.

Bluetooth (8.0)

The Razr2 V8 has Bluetooth 1.2 and a handful of supported profiles: A2DP (stereo audio), headset, imaging, object push, dial-up networking, object push, file transfer, and remote control. Our software recognized the phone immediately.

Wi-Fi (0.0)
Wi-fi isn't supported.

Infrared (0.0)
Infrared isn't supported.
