Sprint today announced that in partnership with Disney-ABC they will be offering full length versions of several popular ABC shows over its video streaming service. The new offerings will be available starting with the season finales of shows such as Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy and Lost. Episodes will be available on demand the day after they air.

Sprint will also offer Disney Channel content and other content from ABC as two of three channels that stream continuous programming. Sprint will be the first carrier to offer full length on demand television shows. Mobile TV has seen extensive growth recently with Verizon Wireless introducing handsets that support mobile TV using MediaFlo broadcasting technology. Unlike the streaming television that Sprint is offering over their network, Verizon's MediaFlo TV will deliver television over broadcast technologies that resemble traditional television broadcasting.

The new television content will be available to subscribers of Sprint's Power Vision TV Pack at a cost of $20 per month.
