Hardware
The W760 has similar hardware to the W580i. Excluding the keypad, the phone has a grand total of eight buttons. Six are on the front: the two soft keys, talk and end, the short menu, and the back button. The left and right each have one button apiece: the Walkman button and volume rocker respectively. The d-pad is ordinary, except the left, right, and center keys all have media control markings. The keypad seems to be good for typing, as the keys are neither cramped nor cumbersome.

The display is 2.2" diagonally, has 320 x 240 resolution, and is capable of 262,000 colors. These are average stats for a phone in the W760's class.

The phone has 40MB of built-in memory, which can be expanded via the heavily trademarked Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) to 4GB, though there was talk of a potential bump to 8GB sometime in the future.

The W760 also has a few hardware extras. Like the W580i, it has an accelerometer, which is mainly used to help you chart your exercise regime. This time, the functionality will be augmented by the phone's AGPS to produce more accurate results. Again, the collected data can be transferred to your PC, where it's charted on a spreadsheet.

Other Features

The W760 has a built-in GPS receiver, and uses AGPS for positioning. This feature is augmented by several built in programs, such as Google Maps, which are available courtesty of their own navigation services menu. Tethered modem capabilities will be at the descretion of the carrier.
