Sony Ericsson announces PlayNow plus, nuTsie on Alltel and more

Sony Ericsson announces PlayNow plus, LG Prada hits one million mark, nuTsie on Alltel and more. Here is today's mobile round up.

Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of PlayNow™ plus which promises unlimited access to millions of music tracks. The service will first launch commercially with operator Telenor in Sweden in the fourth quarter of this year, with further roll-outs around the world beginning in 2009.


LG in a press released announced that they have already sold one million Prada handsets worldwide. Wonder if the second avatar of the Prada will meet the same resounding success?



nuTsie, a service that allows users to listen to playlists from their iTunes libraries is now available on Alltel Wireless. nuTsie, is available for $4.99 a month or $19.99 for one year and one can also share their libraries via the net.


The HTC Touch Diamond will soon be available on Bell Mobility for $149.95 on a 3-year plan. Those who don’t want to get mangled up in a contract need to shell out $449.95.

ScanLife mobile 2D barcode application will soon come pre-loaded on Samsung’s camera phones. The application reads EZcodes and other major 2D barcode formats to  recognize and process information. Samsung will begin selling these phones in Spain, Italy, and Denmark starting as early as next month.
