| The Sony-Ericsson Z750a is a true international device supporting GSM networks worldwide and also supporting both AT&T's and international 3G networks. Bluetooth support is extensive, but there's no Wi-Fi on board. |

Cellular Bands (8.0)
The Sony-Ericsson Z750a is a quad-band (850/900/1800/1900) GSM device, which means it will function on most GSM networks worldwide. This makes it a good choice for world travelers. In the U.S. it will function on both AT&T's network and T-Mobile's although devices purchased from AT&T will be locked to their network. Our score for cellular bands is based on the total number of bands supported.
Data Support Score (8.0)
The Z750a is rare amongst phones in that it not only supports AT&T's 3G network on the 850 and 1900 Mhz bands, but it also supports international 3G networks on the 2100 Mhz bands. This means you can use 3G networks overseas in places like Europe and in places like Japan that only use the 2100 Mhz band. The Z750a supports HSDPA speeds up to 7.2 Mbps, significantly faster than Verizon or Sprint's EVDO networks. We ran an informal test using dslreports.com and were able to manage 437 kbps, so you can see that real life usage is not always up to the theoretical limits. Your speed will vary depending on your coverage and signal strength. Still the high speed data means that you can browse the web quickly and do things like download songs easily.
Bluetooth (11.0)
The Sony-Ericsson Z750a supports Bluetooth 2.0 with the following profiles: Serial Port, Dial Up Networking, OBEX, Sync, Music Streaming, Remote Control, SEMC Watch Phone, PAN Network Access Point, Hands-Free, Headset, OBEX Object Push, OBEX File Transfer, HID Mouse & Keyboard, SEMC HLA, Phone Book Access Profile. We were quite happy with the broad set of Bluetooth Profiles supported. We were also easily able to pair the Z750a with a Bluetooth headset.
Wi-Fi (0.0)
The Sony-Ericsson Z750a does not support Wi-Fi connectivity.
Infrared (0.0)
The Z750a does not support Infrared short range wireless technology. This is not surprising as Infrared has generally been replaced by Bluetooth.
