Music Software
The C903, true to its Sony Ericsson roots, has a music application that appears to offer very good functionality. Unfortunately, we couldn't try it out since the demo unit on display did not have any music files loaded. However, you can see from its menu that podcasts and audio books are expected components of your music library, in addition to standard music files.

Music Formats
The compatible music formats listed in the C903's specs are MP3 and AAC. If this is the extent of the list, it will be a bit disappointing compared to the Sony Ericsson W580i that can also play WMA files, in both DRM-free and DRM-protected flavors.

Video Software
The C903 is capable of playing back video and we were able to observe a sample video on the demo unit. The main video menu also has a direct link to YouTube so you can easily browse videos on this popular video site.
