Keyboard/Keypad
The C903 has a flat keypad with no physical separation between the 3 numbers on each row. We're not usually a fan of these types of keyboards since it's much harder to dial by feel alone when there's no separation between the keys or raised markings on them.

Controls
The C903 has a plethora of controls for navigation. There's a D-pad with a center select button, a clear key, a back key, and 2 soft menu keys. The C903 is a fairly small device, and these keys are correspondingly small as well.

Display
The C903's display measures 2.4 inches diagonally with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and it can show up to 262,000 colors.
Ports & Storage
As with previous Sony Ericsson devices we've seen, the C903 has a proprietary charging and headphone port. We're never fans of proprietary ports since they limit your ability to shop for replacements and often cost more than alternatives with standard connectors. Sony Ericsson does sometimes include an adapter that adds a standard headphone socket, but it is not clear if this will be included with this model.
The C903 has a bit more internal memory than the W580i with 105MB, but this is still not nearly enough to house more than a handful of songs, so an expansion card will be a must. The C903 has a Memory Stick Micro slot to support a Sony format that's not as popular as the more ubiquitous SD card variants. The maximum capacity card that this supports is 8GB.
