Skype for iPhone On Its Way, Opera Mobile 9.7 Announced

According to the grapevine, Skype will soon launch an iPhone version. In fact the buzz is that Skype for iPhone may just be unveiled at the CTIA Wireless show in Las Vegas.
 

 

 

 


Vodafone UK customers can now send Twitter updates via SMS for free for a limited time period. After the free period regular charges will apply to customers without bundles but all text message updates sent from Twitter will remain free of charge. For more info go to here.

Apple Retail stores in the US are now selling the iPhone 3G without the mandatory AT&T contract. The 8GB version is retailing for $599 and the 16GB for  $699. However the phones are still locked to the AT&T service.

 

 

 


At the upcoming CTIA Wireless Show, Opera Software will be announcing the new Opera Mobile 9.7 browser. The new version is compatible with Opera's Turbo servers as well as Google Gear and Flash Lite.

 

 


The new 'My Account' app from T-Mobile helps G1 users to track their usage by giving access to information like current activity, bill summary, plan information, online payment, storage info etc.
