Hardware
The hardware on the Serenata is simultaneously amazing and lacking. The speakers, of course, are some of the finest noise-makers to grace a cell phone. On the other hand, the cell phone they erected around the audio equipment is sub-par at best. The lack of a keypad of any sort means the scroll wheel has to work overtime, and inputting numbers and text feels like you're inputting your initials in a high score table. The touch buttons on the phone are nice, and responsive, but we would've at least liked a reminder that the center spot existed, or that the bottom two touch buttons exist.
The phone has 4GB of built-in memory, it doesn't accept memory cards. The display is a 2.26" TFT LCD. It's capable of 256,000 colors, but the phone relies heavily on just light blue and black. Really, the only images you'll see on a regular basis will be the cover art; the display is really under-utilized. The port at the bottom is a proprietary charging/data port covered by a sliding panel.
Other Features
The phone won't be able to use wi-fi, has no on-board GPS, and can't be used as a dial-up modem.
