The Memoir has a music application to organize your music files and control playback. It automatically sorts your music to show playlists, artists, albums, and recently played music.

The Memoir supports MOP3, AAC, AAC+, MPEG4 , WAV, and MIDI files. That's a very decent selection of file formats, but there is no information available on if music can be purchased or directly downloaded onto the device.
Video Software
The Memoir is capable of playing back video. On-screen controls during video playback allow you to adjust the volume, pause, rewind, fast-forward, and more.
