Conclusion
After our short time with the Memoir, we are itching to test its imaging capabilities in our lab, and expect it to post some impressive results. It has almost all the other basics in terms or organizer applications and messaging and multimedia capabilities to present a well-rounded face, as well as GPS and a number of Bluetooth profiles. Wi-Fi is the biggest thing missing from this package, though; that makes web browsing a much more pleasant experience when you have access to a faster WiFi connection at home or in the office. If the rumored price of $249 is accurate, it's on the pricey side, though we'll reserve our final verdict until we get confirmation of the price, and after we've run it through all of our tests and compared it to other similar devices. However, the signs look good; we found the phone to be generally easy to use, with a decent on-screen keyboard and haptic control that gives some positive feedback. But is it a worthy adversary to the iPhone?  If the camera is the primary feature you need, then it might be. But the software looks to be weaker than the iPhone, and that may be its Achilles heel, and the price is still unknown.

UPDATE: Since Mobile World Congress, we obtained a Memoir in order to do a full review, complete with all of the scientific tests we subject every phone to - you can read it here.
