Samsung M3200 and M3150 Announced, Sony Ericsson Rika Leaked and More

Samsung M3200 and M3150 get official, T-Mobile to expand 3G coverage, Sony Ericsson Rika pops up and more. Here is today’s mobile round up after the jump.


The Samsung M3200 a.k.a. Beat s and the Samsung M3510 a.k.a. Beat b are official. Both phones are music oriented and also have a motion sensor feature called Motion Play. The M3200 comes equipped with a Bang&Olufsen ICEpower audio chip and also features; a 2MP camera, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio with RDS and quad-band GSM support. The Samsung M3510 has a similar feature set but lacks the Bang&Olufsen ICEpower audio chip.

T-Mobile announced its plans to expand 3G coverage to additional 27 markets by the end of 2008.  By mid October markets like Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orlando, Fla., Philadelphia, Sacramento, Calif., San Francisco, and Seattle will be the recipient of T-Mobile's the 3G love.

According to a leaked internal document, Rogers Wireless will sell the HTC Dream. Listed as “coming soon” in the company’s internal document, the HTC Dream will be available in its GSM avatar.

USEB (Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog) has uploaded a leaked image of a new Sony Ericsson device. Codenamed “RIKA”, the  Walkman phone looks identical to the G705. Keep watching this space for more updates.



iPhone users beware. Spam emails with subjects like 'Virtual iPhone games!', 'Apple: The most popular game!' and 'Virtual iPhone toys!' are sent by hackers to infect Windows computers. The emails are sent with an attachment called Penguin.Panic.zip warns security firm Sophos.
