The Samsung Glyde is an EVDO device with maximum data transfer up to 1 Mbps, but it will only work on Verizon's CDMA network.

Cellular Bands (4.0)
The Samsung Glyde is a dual band (800/1900) CDMA device that is locked to Verizon's network. CDMA technology is not very widespread outside the U.S. where GSM networks are the norm. This means the Glyde is probably not a good choice for world travellers. Our score for cellular bands is based on the total number of bands supported.
Data Support Score (6.0)
The Glyde supports Verizon's high speed EVDO network, which provides average download speeds between 500-700 kbps with peak rates up to 1Mbps. Verizon's EVDO network is pretty widespread, especially in cities, but outside the coverage you'll fall back on the slower 1XRTT connection with maximum download speeds of 100 kbps.
Bluetooth (8.0)
The Samsung Glyde supports Bluetooth 1.2 with the following profiles: Headset, Hands-Free, Object Push, A2DP, AVRCP, Basic Imaging, Phone Book Access, Serial Port and Dial up Networking. This is a reasonable selection of profiles, we're especially happy to see support for A2DP and AVRCP so you can use wireless Bluetooth headphones with the Glyde, as well as Dial up Networking so you can use the phone as a modem for a Bluetooth equipped computer or PDA. We were able to pair a headset with the Glyde without problems. You can access the Bluetooth menu quickly by using the shortcut menu from the home screen.
Wi-Fi (0.0)
The Samsung Glyde does not support Wi-Fi.
Infrared (0.0)
The Glyde does not include Infrared, a short range line of sight wireless technology that has been pretty much supplanted by Bluetooth.
