Tethered Modem (3.5)
The Blackjack II can be used as a tethered modem for your laptop but only via USB as it does not support the necessary Bluetooth profiles. Setup is fairly straightforward, simply install the driver on the included CD, connect your device via USB and select it as the modem in a new internet connection. You may need to go online to find the appropriate dial up number and login information. As always we recommend you be sparing with your tethered usage unless you have a plan that specifically supports it, otherwise you may end up with a nasty bill.
GPS (5.0)
One of the upgrades that comes with the Blackjack II over its previous iteration is support for GPS. This is true GPS, not simulated using cell tower triangulation. Out of the box the phone doesn't actually include any software to use the GPS; instead you will need to download and install AT&T's Telenav application or go out and buy your own solution, both of which will cost you some bucks. If you want a free solution we can confirm that the GPS will work with Google Maps.
