BlackBerry Bold in UK, Samsung E200 Eco , a Red HTC Touch and More

A red Diamond on the horizon, a Samsung handset that goes green, the Bold debuting in the UK first and the latest on Google phone. These are just some of the stories making the rounds of the internet today.
 
The HTC Touch Diamond debuting on Sprint is old news however it sporting a red casing certainly isn’t. Images of the Diamond in its red avatar have popped up on the Sprint user forum but for all we know it might be a result of someone’s Photoshop skills.

Going green is a mantra that even the mobile industry is adhering to these days. The Samsung E200 Eco cell phone’s casing has been made of bioplastic -materials extracted from corn (yes you read that right). The E200 also comes equipped with a music player and an 1.3-megapixel camera.

UK mobile carrier, Orange will welcome the BlackBerry Bold on August 16th (that means tomorrow). One can buy this Smartphone sans a contract but you do have to sign a 18-month agreement and shell out £45 per month.

According to NY Times, T-Mobile USA will have the privilege of carrying the much anticipated Google Android mobile phone first. This hasn’t been confirmed by either T-Mobile or Google as of now.
