RIM Announces the BlackBerry App World, Samsung SCH-r211 on Cricket and More

RIM has named its application store; the BlackBerry App World. To access the store you can registerhere. A Paypal account  and operating system 4.2 or higher  is mandatory too.



The  Samsung SCH-r211 is now available to Cricket customers. The candybar phone supports AWS, allowing the customer to use the r211 in all Cricket markets, is immediately available at Cricket retail stores and dealers for $89.99.

 

 

 

 


The Sprint Treo Pro will make its debut on March 15. Running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1, the smartphone will retail for  $199 after rebate. Head over to the official Palm Blog for more details.

 

 


While there is still time for the Palm Treo to hit the Sprint network, however its now available to Alltel customers. The Treo Pro supports EV-DO Rev and is available online and in all retail stores.
