Pantech Matrix Pro on AT&T, Alltel Mobile Advisor Launched and More

The Pantech Matrix Pro is now available on the AT&T network or $179.99 after a two-year service agreement and a $50 mail-in rebate. The 3G device comes equipped with  a 12 key dial pad as well as a  QWERTY keyboard and  also has the ability to edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents.

 

 

 

 

AT&T has pulled out the QuickFire messaging device from their retail outlets nationwide. The network hasn’t disclosed the reason for this decision.

The newly launched  Alltel Mobile Advisor application provides an one-click access to a wide variety of applications of interest and also allows users to optimize their calling plans and respond to offers. Alltel Mobile Advisor is pre-loaded on new Alltel handsets including the Samsung R800 and R600.

A new firmware update is now available for the HTC Touch Pro. The update improves the TouchFlo 3D user interface and also fixes bugs pertaining to the camera. Touch Pro users can download the update from HTC's Web site.
