Palm Pre arrives at CES, Sony W715 Walkman Phone Unveiled and More

The Palm Pre, which is a touchscreen smartphone, got unveiled at CES.  Running on the newly developed Palm webOS, the phone features a QWERTY keyboard, an accelerator, 8GB of memory and also includes an A2DP Bluetooth profile. For more details head over here.

Skype Lite can now be downloaded on Android-powered devices and mobile phones running on JAVA. Via the Lite client one can make Skype-to-Skype calls to other Skype users anywhere in the world. For instructions on downloading the lite version of Skype to LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson phones, users can visit www.skype.com/m using their mobile browser.

 



Nokia will sell the unlocked US version of the Nokia E63 for $279. The handset should be available by this quarter and will support US 3G networks.


 

 

The newly announced Sony W715 Walkman Phone not only offers GPS support but also is also Wi-Fi and DLNA certified. Supporting UMTS/HSPA 900/2100, the handset features a 3.2 Megapixel camera and also has the Shake Control feature.
