Sprint customers can now take advantage of push-to-talk technology courtesy the NextMail (R) Locator feature. Those using the Nextel Direct Connect phones can now push-to-send their location, date, time and voice observations to a dispatcher, call center or another field worker by just clicking on the Nextel Direct Connect button and leaving a message. . Unlimited use of NextMail Locator is available for $19.99 per month.
Nokia Europe has released a major upgrade for the E71 smartphone. Version 200.21.118 fixes bugs, enhances the overall functionality and also adds Internet Radio and My Nokia apps.

At Ces 2009, one got to see the Samsung’s “Show” projector phone. Targeted for the Korean market, the phone uses TI's DLP technology to project images and also supports Korea's DMB-T digital TV system.
